Hey, I forgot that I had a Blog!

I  would love to make  all kinds  of promises to keep you coming back but the truth is I am crazy busy all the time.  I work full time most of the year, and in my off season I try to get to my boat and enjoy the Sun,  Sea and Sky.  When I am not  doing any of those things, I  am doing the bidding of the Admiral. On days that I check off from the honey-do list or weeks that I bring home a paycheck, I am allowed to sleep in the bed.

A quick review of  my ancient entry reveals that I did promise some interesting content.  I am going to sum up events since that entry, in reverse order, with bullet points...

  • I went back to work full time, sometime in March 25.
  • We drove to Florida, bought a Motorhome and adopted 2 more senior dogs.
  • I spent a few weeks recovering and doing some light cardio to regain lost strength
  • November 24, I had some minor neurosurgery so  I could brag about my new titanium plate in my head.  Complete success, no pain, no meds.
  • I had slowly increasing pain for about 5 years.  The pain and associated dosage of meds, (NOT PAIN-KILLERS) had both increased to the point where normal functioning became difficult.
  • I  worked a normal year, from February to November 24.
  • Had the boat hauled out of the water and stored in Florida. January 24.
  • Launched the boat here in Maine, October of 23 and sailed her to Florida. (There should be lots of entries about this alone.)
  • I did the keel recast, and rebuild that I promised to blog about in the last entry, and so much more boat refit.
I just learned that if you hit enter on a blank bullet, the curser reverts back to the default paragraph style.

Next I will add a few photos, and maybe I will caption them.

Rainy cold weekends are always a setback. 60 hour workweeks don't leave much time for catch-up.

Last day in April, If I don't post at least something this month, I'll lose my followers.
